We have no room for hate speech or hate groups in this Party or this Nation. Like President Theodore Roosevelt's said about being an AMERICAN in 1907. "In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith (LEGALLY) becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." Theodore Roosevelt 1907 This has nothing to do with JT or anyone else, he showed up like hundreds of other folks at this Pro America Rally. Shame on JT. This a about making stuff up and keeping these lies alive. This is about those who oppose enforcing our laws and trying to intimidate others into running from the issue. This about profits over patriotism. We must enforce our laws with compassion, but without apology. "Illegal" has no race or nationality. I refuse to apologize for standing up for America and the Citizens of this Nation who have a Constitutional right to expect our laws to be enforced. Shame on the Tribune for not recognizing this for what it is. This guy from the NewTimes is the one who calls Sheriff Joe a Natzi and Andy Thomas or anyone else who enforces immigration laws. He is a hateful and vindictive reporter. If you want fiction go to the library they have a whole section dedicated to fiction. Even the Republic who hates Conservatives and those that insist our laws must be enforced and is clearly an open border paper, recognized this garbage for what it is. How many of these ridiculas lies are you going to believe or keep repeating? I also stood by a gay guy and two lesbians, really good friends of mine by the way, and great Patriots and firm on the issue of illegal immigration enforcement and I stood by a liberal. That does not make me gay or make me a liberal. I also stood by Christians, Patriots, and other fellow Americans and I do consider myself one of all three of those last three groups. I guess they won't be writing about that. In my 61 years in this community and as a law enforcement officer, a Judge, as a father, grandfather, neighbor, scout master, little league coach, pop warner coach, I have never been accused of such asinine things. The most radical groups I have ever been associated with is the Boy Scouts of America and the Fraternal Order of Police, and I confess I still associate with both them.
