In response to gilbertgal:
I used the official Senate photos of both Thayer Verschoor and Chuck Gray as posted on their Senate Web site, without making any changes to them. So the difference in photo size can only be attributed to official Senate policy or personal perference of each senator, not to any bias on my part.
And the Tribune Editorial Board didn't endorse Eddie Farnsworth or any other candidate in Sept. 2, a policy that dates back to when the newspaper was purchased in 2000 by Freedom Communications.

BTW, Le are you showing your favoritism by the sizes of the photos? Were you perhaps supporting Farnsworth, like your editorial board, and have not gotten over it yet?

Verschoor is more qualified and better prepared to lead this time. He has shown true leadership in passing a TABOR two years ago and only the blockade of Carolyn Allen and O'Halleran made the job impossible this year.

Allen will be marginalized for the next two years and Verschoor will be able to get a true Republican budget passed and sent to the governor. Gray should look to another leadership post is he wants to show he has real leadership abilities.

Senator Gray only has his own vote. Burns has Gould and Gorman for sure. He possibly has Nelson (if he wins the general election), Leff, Tibshraeny, Linda Gray (if she wins her general election), and Paton. Verschoor has Huppenthal, Al Melvin (if he wins the general election), Pearce, Harper, and Steve Pierce for sure. Verschoor possibly has Syvia Allen, Carolyn Allen, Linda Gray, and Jim Waring.

Verschoor will be a better leader than Gray. You need someone who can work with both sides while backing the party. Thayer does that much better than Gray.
